Society Launch Announcement

The Society of Incisionless Surgery recently held its inaugural board meeting on March 8, 2026, marking an important milestone in the formation of the organization. During this meeting, the founding leadership discussed the society’s mission, initial structure, and plans for future development.

The Society is scheduled to begin its activities as a chapter of the Society of Robotic Surgery in July 2026, providing an initial platform to bring together clinicians, researchers, and innovators interested in advancing incisionless surgical technologies.

The society’s official independent launch and formal inauguration are planned for February 2027, at which time it will expand its programs, collaborations, and educational initiatives to support the growing field of incisionless surgery.

As the Society of Incisionless Surgery enters its founding phase, we look forward to welcoming colleagues, collaborators, and supporters to a series of important early events. These milestones reflect the beginning of a shared effort to advance the future of incisionless surgical innovation.
