Marcio Moschavas, MD

Dr. Marcio Covas Moschovas is a urologist, robotic surgeon, and academic leader whose work has been deeply centered on advancing the frontiers of robotic urologic surgery. He currently serves as a urologist at AdventHealth Medical Group and Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida, with advanced postgraduate and clinical fellowship training in robotic surgery from both ORSI Academy in Belgium and the Global Robotics Institute in the United States.

​Dr. Moschovas has built an international profile in robotic urology through his clinical work, research leadership, and commitment to surgical innovation. He has served as HIFU Program Coordinator and Telesurgery Program Coordinator at the Global Robotics Institute, is a member of the European Association of Urology Young Academic Urologists robotic section and the scientific committee of the EAU Robotic Urologic Section, and holds editorial roles with the International Brazilian Journal of Urology and Frontiers in Urology. His career reflects a strong commitment to expanding the reach of precision surgery through robotics, high-intensity focused ultrasound, research collaboration, and next-generation surgical education.
